HELLO

My name is Anna and my husband is Manjit, and we live together in Harborne with our 13 month old daughter. I work from home as a project manager for an online marketing company, and Manjit works in a popular restaurant in the centre of Birmingham. I enjoy reading, being outdoors and exploring the local area. Manjit loves playing and watching cricket, and listening to music. Together we enjoy travelling, going to the cinema, cooking and eating, as well as meeting new people.

What we Offer

Our home is a three-bedroom terraced house, and your room is on the first floor. The room is small but comfortable, with a double bed and storage for your belongings. Next to the room is a modern bathroom including toilet, sink and shower. There is also a study upstairs with a desk and chair, with good natural light and a view of the garden. Downstairs there is the kitchen and dining room, another bathroom, and our living room – perfect for relaxing. There is a garden at the back of the house for you to use, with a grassy area and space for a table and chairs in the summer.

Where we Live

Our home is on a quiet residential street in Harborne, close to the bus stop for bus 23 into Birmingham (2-3 mins walk, 25-40 mins by bus into the city centre). The bus stop for bus 24 is also close by, about 8 mins to walk. Close to this bus stop is the local leisure centre (gym and swimming pool). We are within easy walking distance of Harborne’s high street, which offers a variety of pubs, restaurants and shops. We are also a short walk from St Peter’s Church, and Grove Park, a medium-sized park with a duck pond. You can walk to the University of Birmingham in 28 mins or take the number 23 which takes 26 mins in light traffic. It is a great location and very convenient.
