Meal Options for your homestay

With Warm Welcome, you can choose from the following meal plan options depending on your age:

#1 - Self-catering (Aged 18+)
#2 - Bed & breakfast (Aged 18+)
#3 - Breakfast and evening meal/half-board (Aged 16+)
#4 - Breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal/full-board (Aged 10-15 years old)


With this option students aged 18+ are provided with a ‘help yourself’ style breakfast: yogurt/cereal or toast/jam/eggs and tea/coffee. In the evening you will eat out or have light use of the kitchen. Some hosts will allow full use of the kitchen. Please ask at the time of booking.


With this option students aged 16+ are provided with breakfast as above plus an evening meal consisting of meat or fish with potatoes/rice and vegetables, hot or cold dessert: yoghurt, cake or fruit and a drink: water/fruit juice/tea/coffee. Eating together really helps create a family atmosphere too.


This option is for students aged 10 - 17 years old. You are provided with breakfast and evening meal as above plus a packed lunch consisting of a sandwich, piece of fruit and a soft drink.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements such as dairy-free, gluten-free, halal, kosher, vegan, vegetarian etc so we can cater for your individual or group needs.
