HELLO

My name’s Debbie and I am married to Joseph and we have one daughter who is a teacher and lives in Greece for most of the year. I’m a hairdresser and my husband works at King Edward’s school in Edgbaston. We are a happy and friendly family and enjoy meeting new people from around the world. We have been providing homestay accommodation to students for over 10 years and have made lots of friends.

What we Offer

We live in a comfortable semi-detached home which is clean and well looked after. Yours is a bright and spacious room with a desk and chair for study and lots of storage space. We eat together in the evenings which is the perfect opportunity for you to practice your English. We are happy to prepare halal meals for our guests.

Where we Live

We live in the Royal town of Sutton Coldfield, very near to Sutton Park – the largest urban park in Europe. The best way to get to the city centre is by train. The train station is a short 12 minute walk from our home and it takes approximately 17 minutes to reach New Street station (city centre), and then walk for 15 minutes to Edskills Language School. Alternatively, there are bus routes that go to the city centre too. We look forward to welcoming you to our home!
