Hello, my name’s Jenny and I’m a homemaker. I have been hosting students for the past 20 years and have met young people from all over the world. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping them to get the most out of their stay in the UK. At weekends I enjoy cooking, walking my dog Daisy and spending time with family and friends.

What we Offer

My home has plenty of room for guests. There’s a single bedroom and a double bedroom available. Each room is bright, spacious and well decorated. There are two bathrooms – one for guests and one for me– both kept spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very large and a great place to meet in the evenings, eat dinner together and talk about the days’ events.

Where we Live

My home is located in the leafy suburb of Kings Norton. The train station is a 10 minute walk from my home and will take you to the city centre in 20 minutes or South and City College Bournville in 5 minutes. There are also two bus services that go to the city centre and SCCB Bournville – bus number 45 and 47. Depending on the traffic, the bus will take approximately 20 minutes to SCCB Bournville. There is a shopping centre nearby and a lovely area known as ‘The Green’ with many independent shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. Kings Norton is a friendly and safe neighbourhood and we very much look forward to welcoming you to our home.
