HELLO

Hi there, my name’s Kathleen and I live alone as my children have ‘flown the nest’. I have two lovely young grandchildren who visit regularly. I work as a part time Primary School Teacher assistant in a local school. I especially like working with the younger children. In my spare time I like to go dancing with friends. I’m a big fan of folk, line and ballroom dancing. I am also in a social group that regularly attends the theatre and trips to museums – you would be welcome to join us if you like. I also enjoy cooking and make tasty home cooked meals for my guests.

What we Offer

I live in a semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking Woodgate valley country walkway. There is a pretty stream that runs alongside and walkers follow its path. Yours is a comfortable room with double bed and plenty of storage space. There’s also a desk and a chair to help you study. You are welcome to use all the facilities at my home including kitchen, bathroom, living room and garden.

Where we Live

There are a variety of shops nearby. They include a post office, convenience store and fish and chip shop. Every neighbourhood has a Fish and Chip shop in Birmingham and ours is a great one. The number 23 runs regularly into the city centre and Harborne village where you will find banks, shops and a choice of restaurants. It takes between 25 and 45 minutes to get to the city centre by bus depending upon traffic. Cadbury world the famous chocolate factory is a short bus ride away. I will help you get to know the area and show you how to use the buses. I look forward to meeting you soon!
