Hi, I'm Lorraine and I live with my husband Steve and our 3 teenage daughters. I'm a piano teacher working from home when I'm not teaching English at a local college. My husband works in the city centre. Two of our girls are studying, and the oldest is away travelling before going to University.

What we Offer

Your room is a lovely double room on the top floor of our large house. It has a double bed, plenty of storage space, comfy chair, fast WIFI, USB sockets by the bed and a view of the garden. The top floor has its own shower room, and when our eldest daughter is away you may sometimes have it all to yourself! We have 2 family rooms and a large kitchen/diner where you can get tea/coffee etc and where breakfast and evening meals happen.

Where we Live

Olton is in a beautiful part of Solihull. Buses to/from Solihull stop outside our house, and Olton train station is less than 10 mins walk away; from there you can get to Birmingham in 12 mins. Solihull has a large range of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Birmingham is the 2nd largest city in England and has everything! Near us are lots of beautiful countryside, canals, fields as well as a lovely unspoilt reservoir. We can of course help you with ideas for things to do during your stay, and explain how to use the public transport.
