Hi there, my name’s Maeve (pronounced: Mayv) and I’m happy to welcome you to my beautiful home where I live with my grand-daughter, Abigail. I have many years of experience hosting international students. My family and I have made friends for life with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and nationalities including Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

What we Offer

My home is a spacious and beautiful three storey Victorian house built more than 150 years ago. There is a single bedroom available for students. There's a large and comfortable living room to share and relax in with TV for your entertainment. Your bedroom has plenty of storage space for your belongings. There is a shower room, bathroom and also a separate toilet. These are shared facilities and always kept spotlessly clean.

Where we Live

My home is located in the leafy suburb of Kings Heath, near to Moseley, another attractive area of Birmingham. The number 50 bus stop is outside my house and will take you directly to the city centre in 30 minutes. The number 18 bus will take you to Cadbury College. It is an 8-minute walk from my home, then 8 minutes on the bus followed by a 10-minute walk, total journey time of 26 minutes.
